Dear Mr. Paxson,
On behalf of our Mentor Connection group, we thank you for the outstanding
presentation. Our Mentor Connection group appreciates your generosity
in sharing your time and expertise.
Enthusiastic student responses verify the importance of your presentation.
Thank you so very much for coming to speak to us on world population. It is
a very important issue that is highly ignored today. It impacts everyone,
and we all need to be informed about the real facts.
Thank you so much for speaking with us today. Your insight was fascinating.
I never realized how interesting your field is. Thanks for opening my
eyes to a very important and interesting topic.
The presentation expanded my views of over population. It was very
informative.
I've actually spent time thinking about your topic, but I get so depressed
I try to put it out of my mind. After hearing your lecture, though,
I realize it can't be ignored -- by me or anyone else -- and needs desperately
to be addressed.
Eye opening presentation today. The point of importance -- simply
informing people to start -- is very important. Your presentation showed
me a program that I have not even given thought of. We see the problems
but we do not see the course, the root of the problem. I cannot forget
the lesson today.
Thanks for taking the time to speak to us. I appreciated the movie
as a way to illustrate your main point. You opened my eyes to the magnitude
of this problem.
The statistics are just amazing. It really makes you think about our
world's future. He obviously feels passionately about this topic and
is very knowledgeable.
Great visuals, gives us something else to look at and emphasizes better.
The United States uses 25-30% of resources with about only 5% of the
world's population. How much are our advanced helping us. The U.S. is
the problem with how many resources we use. This information is frightening.
Three billion people are malnourished, two billion people are in poverty.
The economy is a subject of the environment not vice versa. As someone
very concerned about the environment, this has encouraged one to keep
advocating awareness. I can't tell you how disturbing this is.
Very interesting presentation! I really enjoyed it. You really helped
to substantiate many of my focus regarding population growth. I liked
the video a lot because it graphically helped to show what is happening.
I am planning to share many of your ideas with others so they can understand
the problems we face with population growth, limited resources, and
unlimited wants! Thank you very much!
Thank you so much for speaking with us today. Your presentation was
very informative, yet disturbing. You really opened up my eyes, and
made me think about what I can do to help this problem. I know that
there is a population problem, but it has a lot to do with the limited
resources. You did a very good job at making me aware of this, and to
make me realize how lucky I am to have what I have, yet to not abuse
it.
I have no idea of how much of an issue the population growth is. Thank
you for opening our eyes to issues that are as pressing as this one.
I will make sure to continue to be interested in this issue.
This is a problem that is very important to me. I also view this,
as the main problem in the world that is the real cause of most other
problems we face in the world today. I also liked that you forced us
to look at the fact that America is one of the major controversies to
this world wide problem. I am going to continue to follow this issue
and work to solve it.
Thank you for sharing your views! In l0th grade my English class did
a project called the Fear Project in which groups researched and learned
about a fear we felt was crucial in the world. My group chose over population.
I feel this is a problem which is not addressed enough. Education, like
what you provide, is very important in changing the ideas of our society.
The development of tomorrow's leaders depends on the contributions of
caring and accomplished adults. Your contribution to their foundation
is indeed touching the future. Thank you!
